Canned 12/1, 9.3% Double dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic. Cloudy, smells of tropical fruit. Juicy with minimal bitterness similar to The Veil IPAs.

Pours a hazy glowing golden orange color. Aroma is citrus and pine hops. Flavor is juicy citrus and pine, has a great hoppy aftertaste. Has a nice body and feel. Overall a delicious beer.

Slightly hazy with a long lasting head.
Smell is wonderfully similar to sell by.
Taste does not disappoint. Balanced yet clearly an IPA. The malt lingers with seemingly endless waves of hop goodness to meet it. This is a solid and full bodied double that will have me seeking another since I left the brewery with the last Crowley from this batch.
I am a fan of many of Garrison's beers, but this was clearly my favorite to date.

Can, no date:
Pours fairly clear golden into my glass with the first pour. The remnants were very cloudy with sediment. Nice white head buildup and nice lacing.
Nose was a bit tropical when I popped the beer, but getting my nose in there, it's less powerful than expected. There's a sort of orange rind-like citrus in the nose, but really a sweet floral overall impression is what I get. Actually I am getting just a little hint of butter in the nose as well.
Taste is honey sweet maltiness to open, with a nice balancing from the hops. The orange citrus notes are in the mix, as is a little pith and woody pine. A light astringency is the only thing I can think to counter the otherwise amazingly soft mouthfeel. This beer feels pillow-like as it hits my palate, and fills it like with a little explosion of malt and hop foaminess (carbonation is light).
A balanced DIPA, malty up front, with a lean towards the bitter in the lingering aftertaste. This beer comes across as very drinkable at 8%. I could easily see getting a few of these in a night and not getting tired of it.
Note: when I combined the two pours, the citrus rind/pith note came out a little more - lending a little more of a overall citrusy impression to the beer.
