Pours a hazy, muted yellowish orange color, sort of like pineapple juice. Head is white and creamy-frothy that forms nice delicate lacing on the glass. This look is very appealing IMO.
Aroma is peach and pineapple with a bit of grass and pine coming through. Its a moderately strong scent that hits the nose with each sip.
Taste is hop-forward with great tropical fruit tones - more than the scent lets on. Malt is light but present by adding just the right amount of caramel sweetness. There is very little bitterness, so this falls under the category of juice bomb and I think they did a superb job with it. Finishes very clean with no stickiness.
Mouth feel is smooth and creamy - I guess attributed to the oated treatment? Regardless it really contributes greatly to this beer. There just a tinge of fizz that lingers into the aftertaste, so low carbonation.
Overall this beer greatly surprised me. I just finished one of their Citra IPAs last night and was disappointed, so I had little hope here. Man, what a 180 turn of events! I would rate this up with the great NE IPAs of the region such as what's coming out from Trillium and Night Shift (though there are more than a few superior beers to this from both places). Nonetheless a fantastic entry. Thank you Garrison City... I will be back for more. And oh, *please* make more beers like this!!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
