Pint can
It's a New England ipa, so it's a muddy, hazed-out gold color with white and orange highlights. Massive, all-white chunky, frothy foam top. Big lace to come. Scattered lacing actually, but a very hefty layer of foam left over for the duration.
The hop-scentric aroma is mind blowing. A wonderful bouquet of resinous, floral, citral, tropical fruits....hearty herbs and earthy tones of wet summer grasses and hot pine cones. Mostly fruity based with a massive depth of aromatics. Honey dew mellon, wild honey pie and pineapple from the can. Excellent hoppy nose. Beyond the pale....for sure.
The flavor and feeling is very deep and chunky, layers of ancient rock-style hops. Lots of deep layers of hops, huge citrus, pineaaple, pine cone, tropical fruits and melons. Golden wheat and pilsner style malty backbone provides just the right balance for the style. The malt is not very crisp, more heady and bold than normal.still, the depth of hop charecter has you feeling DIPA.
The hop combo seems to cover alot of ground, seriously deep complexity but lacking drinkability because of it's very dense mouthfeel and structure. A super smooth, finish that had some juicy but dry effects in the long run. Unique, bold and rather extreme. Even amoungst the plethera of mega dose hoppy NE ipa's.

Pours a beautifully vibrant, opaque pale orange gold like orange juice. Head pours high at 3 fingers but settles to a half or less silky smooth blanket in 5 minutes.
Aroma is rich with citrus, mango and peach notes. Excellent job on this.
Taste is similar to smell with a nice sweetness just right in the back flavor to almost give a slight banana flavor to it. Tangerine, and a touch of peach up front that switches over to a slightly earthy orange in the finish. Low bitterness and thin malt behind it to let the hops come through - and they stick around to the finish.
Feel is unsticky, smooth and creamy and moderately seltzerish.
This is a superb NEIPA in my opinion. This is a real treat and I will be coming to get more. Wow!
