Can from the source.

Pours dark brown with mahogany edgework. Minimal retention or lacing. Roasted peanuts and chocolate in the nose. Medium bodied at best with a thinnish mouthfeel. Peanut and chocolate on the palate with some notes of coffee and char following through. Finishes nutty and dry.

A good peanut fix but the base beer is limp and thin.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.

Pours a near pitch black color with two-fingers of fluffy tan head. The head leaves a sticky ring of lacing as it settles into a thick, foamy blanket.

The aroma is straight up Reese's Puffs cereal. Loads of peanut butter and milk chocolate with a grainy malt backbone.

The flavor is a bit more complex, bringing notes of chocolate, marshmallow, and peanut butter with a sweet graham cracker malt and a wave of roasted coffee. As the beer warms there are notes of caramel and toffee with a piney hop finish.

The feel is medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Very smooth and creamy with a dry finish.

Overall, a delicious stout that comes exactly as advertised. There's a ton of peanut butter and chocolate, with some bitter coffee and hop notes to balance out the sweetness. A bit on the thin side but otherwise extremely well done.
