Had this in the brewery and liked it so much brought so.e cans back.
Pouts a somewhat cloudy yellow gold color with a silky biscuit head that retains well.
Aroma has candied pineapple notes with some fresh citrus. It really grabs you and just smells different... possibly an effect of the Nugget wet hops.
Taste is definitely not as sweet. The pineapple notes go away, replaced by strong pine and lime notes, coming across as an east coast IPA. I love the lime flavor. The finiah beings in dome sweetness again.
Feel is a little soft and a bit seltzery. Strong bitterness in the finish.
This is a really unusual beer and definitely worth trying if you have the chance. It is an intriguing take on a bitter IPA by overlaying some floral hops and a piquant flavor.
