16oz can pours a rich golden yellow color with a small cap of fizzy off-white head that recedes to a thin, sudsy layer on the top of the beer. Smells of cardamom and a very light malt note. The main flavor is the cardamom, while the black pepper and tea flavors are quite subdued. Very light, bright malt profile with a slight sweetness. Small bitterness to close, followed by a very earthy aftertaste from the spices. Medium body and moderate carbonation mouthfeel.
This is a really unique beer; the spices give it a flavor partially reminiscent of a masala chai tea. This was pretty good, but not sure if I'd buy again.

On tap. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of pepper, spices and sweet caramel. Peppery with spices and sweet toasted caramel.

From a tall can, this brew pours a hazy dark-straw color with a soapy, white, lace-providing head. The aroma has cardamom, a little pale malt, and distant hop balance. The tea comes out in the taste...a dryness that extracts the tea flavor. Medium-full in body and a little sweet. Nice.

Clear amber color.
Strong tea aroma.
Black pepper up front mixed what a little bit of hops followed by a watery stale tea aftertaste.
Gets worse as it warms up.
