Gold with one finger head. Very grassy, piney, with a little herbal, citrus hops. A little toasty malt. The toast is especially strong in the flavor with a strong earthiness. Almost roasty. Very unusual. Fairly bitter and dry, with medium carbonation.

Smells and tasted like Coffee. Am I missing something here? Interesting and unusual tasting IPA but the Malt bill is awkward.

This was bitter for the sake of bitterness. Almost jaw clenchingly so. Little bit of roast in there too, as well as a bit of earthiness. But over all was overwhelmingly bitter and harsh.

I have come to expect extremely exotic, boundary-pushing beers from this brewery. Sometimes they are great, and sometimes they fall short. This beer, however is not expected from Earthbound...it is a standard IPA with a touch of funky yeast. Hazy orange liquid...tall white head. The aroma is intense and pungent, if not a little medicinal. The taste is balanced...maybe tilted dry...spicy and flavorful. Full in body. Interesting and engaging.
