this is a weird beer, in the sense that its one of the easier styles to throw together, yet this is one of the least flavorful craft beers ive ever had. mild off flavors in residual sweetness too high and some weird metallic thing, but its minor and not all that offensive. its the utter lack of flavor here that dooms it. i dont smell or taste hops, not acceptable in an american pale ale, and there is a similar detergent character in this to some of the other beers. i know these guys are new, and deserve some time to get things sorted out, but when you start this poorly its hard to be optimistic. this is one of the least flavorful beers in the market right now, and that just shouldnt be the case with an american pale ale...
