Light Alcohol but not light flavoured. Straw coloured. Aromatic hop bouquet with elements of lemon zest, lime and a trace of white pepper. Sorachi Ace hops create long focused finish. Premium 2-Row malted barley, flaked brewing rice, Sorachi ace hops.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Purchased for around $2.75 CDN.
Appearance - Pale golden color, crisp white white that doesn't last long. Loads of bubbles and good clarity. No lacing at all.
Smell - Thin and watery with some gentle grainy notes. Nothing off putting (i.e. no veggies) but not a big nose at all.
Taste - Light and thin tasting, with some subtle sweetness. Better than macro rice lagers. Touch of citrus in there when you get down to it.
Mouthfeel - Fizzy, light bodied, maybe a little too carbonated. About right for the style.
Overall - A nice rendition of a rice lager, but not something I'd want to drink regularly. Pretty refreshing a a good post-lawn cutting type of beer.

I've never been a huge fan of rice lagers, or lagers in general for that matter, however, the Sorachi is a very well brewed light rice beer. It's very crisp, and easy drinking, pairs really well with seafood.
