12 ounce can, stamp on bottom says best by 02 2017. Served in a Prarie Teku, the beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with about an inch off-white head that stayed around for a little while. There's a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like tropical fruit, bubblegum, and honey. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some funk, white pepper and citrus noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I think it's a good enough overall brew, definitely worth a try! $9.99 a 4-pack.

Enjoyed from the 12 oz can in a snifter. This nice saison pours a
nice clear golden with a moderate head of white foam that subsides
to a thick ring, thin layer, and features some nice light lacing.
Nose of tart sun soaked fruits of banana, papaya, passion fruit, and
sweet honey. Flavors exceed the nose with banana, light candy sugars,
honey, tangy passion fruit, papaya, subtle lemon zest and yeasty
funk making for a long and lingering dry finish with a touch of white
pepper. Nice mouth feel, crisp, moderately effervescent, and finishing
dry.

Solid!

Cheers

Best by February 2017. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy golden with a small white head that fades leaving solid retention and okay lacing. The aromas have some subtle funk notes along with yeast and malts. The passion fruit gives it a fruity tropical vibe. Banana, pear and bubblegum is also in the mix. The flavors follow the nose. Solid malt backbone. The yeast does its thing. More banana, pear and bubblegum. Some subtle clove and spice notes. The passion fruit is balanced and accents everything else that's going on. Slightly sweet and tart, but nothing crazy. There's a subtle spiciness in the finish, but it also finishes juicy. Alcohol is well hidden. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's very smooth and dangerously drinkable.

This is a nice brew. It's definitely not your traditional saison, but it's still very enjoyable and fun to drink. I still really like it despite not being "true to style".

This was a very bizarre Saison for me! Certainly not used to such a dominating level of fruitiness from this style or brewery. Ultimately unsure if this is fairly common for the style; regardless, I'm a fan, and intrigued to see more hybrids of this nature. Would drink again.
