Not only is the NEIPA a generally recognized style for less than two years, but its youth seems to encourage really creative ales like Batch #305.

Its Looks are not Particularly inviting (no foam to write of); but the orange tinge is interesting. Smells enter a whole higher level... wonderful fruity, mostly tropical, aromas beguile my nose. Tastes add some apples and berries for good measure. I'm supposing there is some lactose-thing going on here (but that is outside of my pay-grade.) Then, there are modest bitter hops for balance and remind me this is an ale. And then, there is a solid bop of alcohol to make me think that someone spiked the punch. My only suggestion for their next change to the recipe is that there is bit of rind in the after-taste.

I had Batch #035 with a mild Indian dal and it was a fine accompaniment... smoothing over the spice like a smoothie could and calming the buds. All of which causes me to want more of both.

I went on Nowhere In Particular's website and this is no joke. The founder and chief tun-washer is a brewing hobo; using other brewers' capacity. And their website is very, very funny. Read this: https://www.nipbrewco.com/itinerant-tale.
I'd like to try his saison... if the brewer-hobo is still brewing it.

Tastes like fruity pebbles. One of the most original beers I've had in a while.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 8/2019. Pours very hazy reddish orange/amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy strawberry, tangerine, orange juice, fruit skin/seed, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of strawberries, tangerine, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy strawberry, tangerine, orange juice, fruit skin/seed, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy strawberry, tangerine, orange juice, fruit skin/seed, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberries, tangerine, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitter/tart/tangy balance, with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, lightly sticky/acidic/tangy, and slightly resinous mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 9%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited milkshake DIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberries, tangerine, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/tart/drying finish. Great soft feel. Feels like Citra, Mosaic. Very juicy/vibrant hops/fruit, with light dank/earthy notes; with a great balanced lactose, and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example.

Hazy dark orange to oddly dark tan with a thin off-white film dying to nothing.

Wow, this has a tasty fruit smoothie character with a little hop spice. It also actually does have that sorbet sort of feel and taste, as the medium body has a faint but crisp carbonation, finishing semi-dry bringing out notes of Orange Julius and a fainter hint of cracker. A nicely satisfying strawberry exhale comes out with a second gulp.
