Chocolatey, robust, and decadent, with notes of vanilla, caramel, and roasted coffee beans. Mild kiss of hops on the back end.
Very creamy and smooth. Very bold yet extremely drinkable. A damn good porter.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short dark tan head that died down, leaving lacing on the surface and a thin collar around the edge of the glass. The lacy bubbles on the surface eventually completely faded away.
S: Light aromas of coffee beans are present in the nose along with hints of black licorice.
T: The taste follows the smell has has lots of flavors of coffee beans along with notes of licorice and hints of cola, chocolate, and caramel.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little smooth on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really liked the coffee aromas and flavors of this beer.

Had on tap at world of beer. Very drinkable. Hints if vanilla. Smooth to the point of being dangerous. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass (traditional pint glass).

Nice and dark with a small off white head. Malts play well together for a nice coffee/chocolaty/roasty aroma. Velvety smooth on the way down, not thick but just right. Hops balance well without getting in the way. Yeast is nice and clean as well.
