On draft at the grand opening. This was one of the last beer's I tried that day and my palate was pretty worn out. No notes, so just from memory some thoughts I had on this one.

Pour was a medium to dark amber with little head. Aroma of sweet malt and strong boozy bourbon. Yeast came through a bit on the palate as well as some malt but the star of the show was a clean boozy oak flavor. Medium bodied and easy to drink.

I wish I had tried this one first so I could be more elaborate. I often dislike barrel aged beers from smaller breweries as they tend to suffer from oxidation in the barrel but this beer really surprised me. Took on a nice bourbon flavor without losing the brightness of the original beer.
