On tap at Common Roots Brewing in S. Glens Falls, NY.
This one pours a light clear yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
Smells pretty citrusy, some orange and tangerine, lots of grapefruit, with an odd smokey funk, some grassiness, and wet hay.
The funk on this one is very peculiar, but not altogether unpleasant. It's a little bit smokey, and bitter, while also being a tiny bit citrusy- what strain did they use? There's some sort of damp hay feeling, with a huge hoppiness up front, tons of citrus. It's mainly grapefruit, but some sweet candied tangerine and orange are also there. This is so odd that I kind of like it.
This is light bodied, pretty crisp, with a good level of carbonation for the style.
I'm not sure this is entirely how it was supposed to turn out, but I still like it very much.
