A: The beer is essentially jet black in color—only traces of dark reddish brown are visible near the corner of the glass when it is held up to a bright light. It poured with a finger high dark brown head that fizzled down very quickly like a carbonated soda and completely faded away.
S: Light aromas of coffee beans are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the coffee flavors are a little stronger and develop more as the beer warms up.
M: It feels light-bodied and a little thin on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes like a half cup of stout was mixed together with a half cup of cold brew coffee as it's rather light on the body. This makes for a good breakfast beer but I wouldn't make this something to end the night with.
