A: The beer is very hazy pale light yellow in color—too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles coating the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of honeydew melon are present in the nose along with hints of orange citrus. As the beer warms up, notes of papayas also become perceptible.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of honeydew melon with stronger notes of orange citrus. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is a classic New England-style IPA that is very "juicy" but has no bitterness whatsoever. I also liked how the oats imparted a smooth mouthfeel.
