A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, consistently leaving a thick layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of yeast are present in the nose along with notes of biscuity and bready malts.
T: The taste has flavors of biscuit and cracker malts along with strong underlying notes of yeast. A faint amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and very dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. There is a lot of dryness on the mouthfeel, particularly in the finish.
O: This beer has a very nice balance of malts, yeast, and dryness.

a really brilliant keller pils type, german in nature, insanely fresh, old worldy though, hearty, raw in the right ways, frothy and hearty feeling, but totally crushable too, an awesome pint of beer here, and one they should do really well with, even a genre definer for me, especially of late, where there seem to be more and more inferior takes on this style than good ones, i loved this! wonderfully flavorful pils malt, but it tastes and feels like a cerealy wheaty thing happening here too, although i dont know whats actually in here, thats just what it tastes and feels like to me. hops are noble but bold, fresh, the right amount of bitter without being vegetal or green in here, and there is a wet grassy newness to them, perfect in here. there is a creaminess to this, a heft that i really like and dont often find in the style, and the yeast has an awesome flavor to it, german to an extent, but also light and doughy to me, very well concocted overall and probably the best american made example of this style i have had all year. i wish i had 50 of these in my fridge for this weekend, its that good, its all i want now! i havent had many beers from these guys, but the few i have had have been lights out. this is exceptionally good!

Visited the brewery on a trip to the Glens Falls area. Very impressed by their tasting area and overall customer approach. Sampled a number of beers and was particularly intrigued with the Lutz Keller Beer. Purchased a 4-pack of cans to bring home and now wish I had purchased several. Quite a unique product - an unfiltered German-style Lager in this landscape of IPAs. I'm planning to return to their area soon and will definitely be looking for Lutz with the hope it isn't just a seasonal.
