Norbert's Valkyrie Belgian Dubbel

Poured a brown body with minimal head and no lace. The aroma only shines the malts as caramel, possibly toffee, come through. Medium body, almost sticky, the malts really come through with a caramel/toffee sweetness coming through, although some candi sugar and booze come through as well and finishes slightly boozy. Not a bad beer but there really isn't any Belgian characteristic to speak of when thinking of a traditional dubbel.
