(Had this beer and billed as “1888” as a pale ale at 6.0%)
Poured a seethru copper body with orange tints and minimal head with lace that stuck around a bit. The aroma is earthy and biscuity, and the beer itself is medium body, a little sticky, and has a sweetness that bordered tea with honey or orange blossom honey (and at one point something like fruit jelly) and I couldn’t get the “tea and biscuits” feeling out of my mind.
