We blended this barrel aged blended sour for one of our favorite shops in Redmond - Malt and Vine! Turning the spry age of 13 this year we wanted to honor their awesome spot with a little something special from our cellar. This blended beer underwent primary fermentation in steel with a Norweigan Kveik strain and then rested in American oak barrels with a blend of Brettanomyces and assorted company. Starting with a lingering aroma of wet hay and dried papaya, this blend has a full bright lactic acidity. This rounded acidity coaxes out flavors of cherry, pineapple, and lemon zest. Each sip ends with a crisp, crackery, and dry finish. Come try out this exclusive blend and celebrate Malt and Vine's 13 years of awesome work!

32oz growler served in a SIP Fest snulip. Filled the growler on Monday.

Pours a rich slightly hazy amber-orange with very little head and just a flash of carbonation. Smell is tart and oaky, some sweet-tart aroma, maybe a hint of funkiness.

Taste is tart with a vague, mild fruity sweetness. Some oak on the first sip, builds on the second.

Mouthfeel is medium, a little too still, a little filmy. Probably the weakest spot in the beer, but by no means bad. Overall, it's a nice, solid sour.
