A light and refreshing session ale with a hint of roasted malt character. If you’re not typically a fan of dark beers, this one may change your mind. At 4.0% alcohol by volume, our Minuteman Mild is light in body and is a great introduction to darker beers for those who may not usually enjoy them. Dedicated to the Minutemen of the revolution – a militia of ordinary citizens ready to fight for our freedom at a minutes notice.

I enjoyed this on tap at the pub served in a pint
The color is dark amber like maple syrup with thick white head and fine bead with lace that sticks well. The smell is good with mostly malt and toasted grain odors up front with light chocolate malt presence in aroma and gentle yeast ester. The feel is very good with medium high carbonation with light body and slight toasted texture with malt and clean yeast with slight sweetness and mostly dry finish.
The taste is nice with malt up front and slightly roasted quality with a nutty and gently fruity flavor with yeast adding something not raisiny but earthy with more of a brown ale flavor than mild with good flavor yet almost no bitterness. This is fine yet English yeast character is restrained. Overall I liked this a decent session ale - not the best example of the style but very good flavor of malt and drinkability is high -I would drink this anytime.

Roasty. Hint of coffee. Earthy hops. Well balanced and quite flavorful for a Mild. Could drink these all day.
