On tap at Prison City Pub and Brewery in Auburn, NY.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.

This smells mainly of roasted malt, with some dark fruit and chocolate.

The flavor additions here aren't super strong - they're just subtle tones on top of a very good roasty base stout. There's lots of roast and a nice subtle dark fruit character, along with just a smidge of vanilla, and some nice chocolatey character.

This is medium bodied, rich, and pretty creamy, with no real booziness and a good creaminess.

Had on tap at PCPB. Imp Stout brewed with Caribbean Cacao Nibs and Madagascar vanilla beans. Charitable oriented “one off” with proceeds shared in supporting local organizations in Auburn that empower people of color.
Excellent IS . Rich, smooth and delicious. Strains of old ale-like dark fruit meld with cacao and vanilla. Each flavor a standout in itself but also delightful in its combinations as the drink proceeds. Grabbed a 4 pk to enjoy at home too.
