A short-lived, rocky, off-white head sits atop the almost clear, bright gold Saison, leaving no lacing on a double walled pint glass.
The aroma opens with dusty coriander. Some lemon and white pepper, both very mild, show up for the duration.
Earthy hops and coriander lead to faint, musty yeast that slowly builds to a light to moderate effect. The long finish is mild and dry. Warmth brings out lemon and celery.
A medium body with a soft texture, similar to finely woven wool. Alcohol is mild, as expected. Carbonation is soft.
This is a very pleasant Saison, adding to a relaxed, lazy Saturday afternoon, with warm, dry air and thick, puffy clouds. I found it to be just right with a funky semi-soft cheese.
