330ml bottle from SuperValu, Westport (€3.75):
Dark, hazy amber with a half cm, bubbly head. Light herbal notes, banana & a faint sweetness then some yeast on the nose. Banana & yeast are fairly strongest with the taste too, some herbal malts & citrus as well. It's a medium bodied, slightly dry beer with a pretty good balance.

Lovely pouring ale. High carbonation, three finger head which retains well. Dark amber gold colour. Earthy, malty taste with herbal and mild yeast finish. Good effort from a very solid Irish brewery.

look: very pretty beer, silky smooth one finger white head with excellent retention, beer is a super hazy amber colour, very gentle carbonation, lot of sediment.
smell: lot of sourness on the nose, not too much saison character though, lot of straw, white bread malt, honey, earthy, lightly sweet, hint of orange.
taste: that’s quite nice, lot of white bread malt, little caramel, nice leathery saison flavour, honey, banana, clove, orange and orange peel, lemon, earthy, nicely bitter on the finish, good stuff.
feel: light bodied, highly carbonated, a bit watery and thin, lingering bitterness on the back of the tongue.
overall: a good irish effort at a saison, definitely plenty of unique flavours and character present here, decent stuff from mescan.
