Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – the beer is serve a lighter golden color with a tiny head of fizzy white foam. The head fades almost instantly, leaving just a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is lighter overall with some sour green apple and apple cider vinegar aromas overall. Along with these smells comes some flavors of light fruit of peach, pear, and apple.
Taste- The taste begins with a tart and sour apple cider vinegar and bug sour green apple taste. There is a good sum of harvest fruits of sweet apple, pear and apricot as well as a little bit of an herbal hop taste right from the start as well. As the taste advances the flavor profile sours even more with more tart apple and some lemon coming to the tongue along with some slightly more woody and dank hop tastes joining in as well. With all sorta funky and hay tastes coming at the end, and all the flavor transitions that occur during the taste, one is left with a decently sour and nicely funked taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is moderate. For the blend of sour, funk, and fruit the feel is quite nice and makes for an easy drinking brew.
Overall – A fun wild to try!! While not worth the price of $ 10$ for a 375 ml corked bottle (which is what I have seen around town), if you can get it on tap like I did for $7 for 16 oz., you are getting a win. It’s a nice wild. Nothing that will brow your mind, but fun to try….

375ml bottle courtesy of Jay Whitson. Thanks, buddy.
Corked and caged, when I removed the cork, I got a big whiff of Brett. A good sign considering the style.
It pours a hazy yellow? Orange? Combination of the 2, I reckon. The head of foam and lacing are to be envied.
The smell is big Brett, vinegar sourness, that's pretty much it. Doesn't seem complex but the style doesn't have to be to be good.
Taste wise, it is VERY sour, Brett matches the sourness inch for inch. On a scale of sourness that I have experienced, this would be way up there. Another need for rolaids I have no doubt but what's going on is a palate pleaser.
Mouthfeel has no problems.
I am suddenly a fan of Bozeman. Fancy that.
