Black, mysterious and bold, this beer is crafted with the fortitude and strength of the bull Taurus. Only emerging in the deepest part of winter to shine some light in the darkness and carry us through the cold. Roasted barley and Victory malt provide a strong foundation to support an ample ABV. Tread lightly with Taurus, you know what they say about messing with the bull.

12oz can picked up at Big Head's Bottle Shop in Missoula, MT
Poured into a Sisu IPA-style glass
P deep mahogany w/ just a bit of translucence around the edges; 2f dense khaki head; recedes to a nice cap; looks good
N med-bold; lots baker's chocolate w/ a light sweetness; med roast
T tasty blend of roast and baker's chocolate; simple, satisfying, and well-balanced between the sweet and roasty elements
Mf med-bodied w/ soft-med carb; smooth
O a tasty, nicely done imperial stout; straightforward, no nonsense profile- I dig it!

Many thanks to muchloveforhops3 for the can!
A - Pitch black pour wioth super dense, creamy, caramel colored lacing.
S - Roasted chocolate and toasted cocoa abound on the nose.
T - Taste follows as predicted with assertive sweet chocolate and cocoa roast, finishes balanced, and leaves a pleasing lingering chocolate residue on the palate with light chocolate bitterness.
M - Big silky body that's viscous and creates some warming in the back of the throat.
O - This is a really fantastic Stout. Worth a look.
