another cool version of this, this time on draft! cara cara orange, blood orange, and grapefruit are the fruits this time, and i think the citrus brings out a lot of goodness in this one, namely the already citrus forward lactic profile, this seems more tangy, lemony, and clean than a couple others have, definitely acidity appreciable from these fruits, and while its not too tart to drink, its more intense here than any in the series that i can recall. a little bit of orange color to this, but still wheaty looking and a little thick and murky, good head from the faucet though, and bubbly in texture even though its fuller feeling. the nose and taste are the same, sweet orange, tangy grapefruit, a lot of salt and attendant minerals, and the coriander, which is boldly dosed, seems toasted and nutty while also being fragrant and floral, and appears to be well enhanced by the citrus as well, especially the orange, neat synergy there. a little ester in the ferment, drier in the end than it starts, and not shy on the grain side either for the style, they could even lighten this up a touch on the wheat i think, but i prefer this more robust side than the watered down all fruit takes on the style we see more commonly. i have really come to enjoy this little series of beer, and have gained more respect for bozeman brewing through them. this is great for springtime!
