From a 6pk picked up Pablo Family Foods in Pablo, MT
12oz can poured into a Level Belgian-style tulip
p- clear gold w/ a 1-2f foamy white head; fairly quick recession
n- med bold nose of sweet cereal and honey character from the pilsner malts combined with zesty noble and grassy hops; nice nose
t- follows nose- this is really good; balanced between the sweetness and earthiness; light bubble gum note beneath
mf- light med to med bodied; satisfying, yet crisp on the edges; med to med-high carb; lightly creamy as it opens
o really digging this pilsner- definitely exceeded expectations; notable for the style and extremely drinkable

on the side pull faucet at their cozy little taproom, this is pretty advanced, i dont think these guys get enough credit. solid pils here, czech type, simple, clean, some back end hops including the bitterness, light in body though, and tidy on the ferment, long lagered it seems, nice and crisp, but im not sure it would stand out as much without the side pull, which really adds a lot to this, the texture is epic, credit equal parts the beer and the dispense for this creamy bright beautiful feeling brew. pretty pale golden brew all frothed up. my boy had a straight milk pour, i went with the standard, but the head is amazing, tiny bubbles, super delicate, wonderful. the nose is grainy and somewhat european, light green tea from the hops, citrus, and minerals, but understated, way more flavorful than it is aromatic. somewhat spicy and noble on the hops, starting early, just light fade to them, but bitter through the finish. the grain is fresh, european, and crackery, dry, and pleasantly earthy. the yeast is familiar and well deployed, this has a snappy feel and feels authentic to the old world. as nice as the flavor is, bolder than most, i cant get past the mouthfeel on this with this faucet, it adds so much, and both accelerates parts of this and slows parts of it down, a really nice journey on it from start to finish, quite a lot happening for a basic pils type. this is really solid, and we had a great hang here this time!
