Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a small head of white foam. The head fades over a moderate amount of time, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is very strong of corn and a light bready malt mixed with notes of caramel and toffee sweetness. Along with these is a touch of hay and earth.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet caramel and corn malt flavor paired with a touch of grain and some wheat. As the taste advances it sweetens a bit more as some toffee joins in. With a touch of earth and herb developing along the way, one is left with a semi-sweet and crisp corn taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew was light and crisp with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A decent Mexican lager. Rather easy drinking overall.
