Brewed with the summer in mind, with a light, Ritz cracker malt character and a mild hop spice, Boat Beer is the perfect all day drinker. Crisp, clean, and refreshing, this beer is designed to be crushable in any warm weather scenario. Floating on the river, grab a Boat Beer; fishing off the dock, grab a Boat Beer; cruising on the lake….well, you get the idea

I had this beer on-tap in a pub glass at the brewery in Snohomish.
Appearance: pale straw hue with a clear body and a head of white foam atop, but the head didn’t stick around super long or leave much lace.
Smell: lightly sweet malt with a little cider note. Not too bad for a light lager.
Taste: like the aroma, a little bit of sweetness but there’s also a lightly balancing bitterness. That hint of cider is here, too, though.
Mouthfeel: light body with plenty of carbonation. Fizzy!
Overall: quite drinkable at the end of the day. A pretty good example of the style.
