Feel like a boss? You will when you crack open our flagship West Coast Style IPA, Boss Pour.

Waves of Pacific Northwest hops are supported by American 2-row and copious amounts of English speciality base malts. Bright citrus and a touch of dank hop characters are the ones in charge here, and will surely be good for the end if your daily grind.

So step on up, be a Boss.

Hops: Cascade, Simcoe, Nugget, Citra, and Mosaic.

Picked up a four pack of pint cans. Date on can: 07/08/24.

Upon opening, foam started coming out of the can. Had to quickly sip it out before it spilled all over the place. Pours a hazy light golden in color with a half inch of foamy head that dissipates almost immediately and leaves almost no lacing behind. Carbonation looks average. Looks a bit flat after the pour. Strange. One might even say, abnormal.

Aroma is predominantly fruity. Lots of tropical fruitiness and berries. A lot of plum. Pine dank to round it out. Some vague sweet graininess in there as well. A bit soapy, overall.

Taste follows the nose pretty well. Citrus and floral bitterness, white plum and some herbal pine dank. Kind of earthy and tart, a bit of a white wine quality to it. Very subtle lightly toasted sweet graininess. Finishes with lingering citrus bitterness. Not balanced enough for my taste.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied with some substance and zest on the swallow. Feels a bit mineral watery, but doesn't quite reach feeling thin. There's enough hop oil in there to give it a bit of a syrupy feel. Drinks pretty smooth and crisp, especially for its ABV.

Maybe I got a bad batch, but I don't get the high rating here. Not the taste I'm looking for in an IPA. This is my first beer from the brewery so it's not a good first impression, but I'd still try some of their other stuff. Looks like they have a lot of darker stuff, so perhaps I'll go in that direction. Cheers!

This one delivers on its "West Coast" promise...the old-school hop presence here is obvious...piney, resin, grapefruit, citrus rind, lemon and lime, herbal earth, dank weed, grassy, pinesol...strong bitter finish, lingering hop presence. Not balanced whatsoever. One-and-done for me as a palate-wrecker.

A stellar WCIPA! Nugget, Cascade, Mosaic, and Citra hops for a piny hop smash to your face! Definitely Abnormal.

16oz can. Can bottom is stamped 'CANNED ON 01/02/23'.
Mostly clear, pale gold colored body. White head does not last very long but remains as an interrupted cap and ring. Leaves behind some webs and spots of lacing.
Aroma is very much pine and dank weed.
Taste is numbing pine bitterness and sweet citrus and tropical fruitiness. There is some dankness late and into the aftertaste. Citrus is orange and grapefruit, and the tropical is some pineapple.
Medium mouth feel. Juicy but also has a drying effect. Bitterness is moderate and seems to come from the dankness and pine.
Interesting take on an IPA with the high level of dank weed (bitterness) and the inclusion of juicy orange, grapefruit, and pineapple (sweet). Very full flavor profile.

Bought at Garage 79 in Warner Springs, CA. Bottle date 8/09/22, consumed 10/28/22

A&S: Very somber-looking beer. Transparent deep yellow beer. The head disappears instantly. vanilla initially in the aroma, after warming, I get very sweet tropical fruits.

T&M: Very sweet and floral. Nutty in the finish. Super flat beer with a medium-full body.

Overall: I don't understand this hype on this beer. I don't think anything was causing this beer to be off. It wasn't inexpensive either. Would not buy again, would not recommend.

Picked up a pint can at TJs (SoCal) just for kicks on reco from a coworker - $14.99 for a sixer so I just got one to try it out. Pours a golden straw with fluffy head. Their was a slight aroma of an odd metallic bitterness - nothing fruity so off this ain't no westy ipa. The taste was light, creamy, slightly piney but very smooth and dry. No alcohol heat despite it's 7% abv. Not sure what an American IPA is but if this nails the style it's a winner for sure. Check it out if you get a chance.

Crystal clear with steadily rising carbonation, nice white head that leaves good amounts of lacing. Smell, taste are both classic WCIPA with nice mix of hop bitterness and malt but I can't say I really picked up distinctive smell or flavor. Overall a nice WC IPA but the looks are the highlight
