Saw that this was available at Bine & Vine, but decided to check Windmill Farms and lo and behold it was about a buck cheaper. Was psyched to try this. Can description read, “Some would say that San Diego could be named IPA Town or something along those lines with how heavy-handed we are with the hoppy offerings. Well, what we have here came from a smaller nice of town within SD called Hazyville. We wanted to collab with one of the best hazy IPA makers in the country to bring you this amazingly delicious summer delight, so please give a warm Abnormal welcome to Burgeon Beer Co. The hops we chose should lend way to juicy pineapple, citrus, and passion fruit along with some resin-like dankness that begins out a subtle note of sweet pine. Smelled Mosaic, Idaho 7, Citra, creapaya and pine. Straight Mosaic, Citra and Idaho 7 from the can, with the addition of pineapple and grapefruit. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted as good as the nose. In order got Mosaic, Idaho 7, Citra, peach creamsicle, apricot, pineapple, stone fruit, grapefruit rind, orange juice, passion fruit, vanilla, caramel candy squares, papaya and pine. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Dry, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just an excellent beer overall. (Overall - 4.25)
