Grabbed a single can of this with a bunch of other stuff from Windmill Farms. This was kind of hidden in the back, but I was in when I saw Abnormal and Lager. Back of the can read, “Looking for a big crispy boi? Then this beer's for you! Abnormal Export is a Dortmunder-Style Lager known for its high mineral content in the brewing water. Expect high drinkability with a full mouthfeel, a toasted malt character and bright fruit notes from the Hallertau Blanc hop. This award winning lager will surely please, so share with friends...or don't. Prost!” Mentioned hop was Hallertau Blanc, not one I particularly like.

Poured a light amber clear color with two fingers of frothy white head. Just a few bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Good watery lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.00)

Smelled big booze for 6.5 pct. Also sweet grain, corn, plum, raisin, skunk, brown bread, toasted malt, wet grass, Noble hop, peppery spice and hints of honey. Much of the same from the can. Wasn’t getting anu Hallertau Blanc. (Smell - 4.00)

Tasted even better than the nose without any of that skunky flavor that I got from the nose. Got sweet grain, corn, plum, raisin, floral, wet grass, bitter aspirin, peppery spice, the mentioned Hallertau Blanc, Noble hops, toasted malt, biscuit, brown bread and hints of honey. (Taste - 4.25)

Medium body. Oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Abrupt, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.75)

This was outstanding overall, especially for a style I’m not particularly fond of. (Overall - 4.00)
