Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?! Pineapple Palace is a Milkshake IPA with pineapple purée, coconut, vanilla and milk sugar. We use Sabro hops to accentuate the coconut flavors and Citra Cryo to create tropical notes of citrus and stone fruit while complementing the pineapple. The creamy body provided by the lactose sugar adds a layer of complexity to all of this fruity goodness.

Misc.: Canned on July 29, 2021
Headed over to Windmill Farms to look for some new North Park ones. Was out of luck there but did come away with eight other cans. Abnormal’s website called it “Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?! Pineapple Palace is a Milkshake IPA with pineapple purée, coconut, vanilla and milk sugar. Poured a light golden hazy color with three fingers of uneven frothy white head. Could see some bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled pineapple, orange puree, coconut, vanilla, Sabro, milk sugar, Citra, grapefruit rind, guava and floral. Even better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted a tad better, getting pineapple, coconut, orange puree, vanilla, Sabro, milk sugar, Citra, guava, grapefruit rind, cedar, floral and hints of mango. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy, sweet finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Really liked this one. Grew on me each sip. Probably more excellent than outstanding. (Overall - 4.25)
