Fun fact: we've never used the Strata hop before! We decided to showcase this hop plus the very popular Citra in this West Coast Style IPA. Expect strawberry fruit notes from the Strata and tons of citrus flavors from Citra to create a clean, slightly dank beer. As Vision would say, "Aren't we a fine pair?" We couldn't agree more with this blend!

Went over to Windmill Farms to pick up a 4-pack and came back with a bunch of other stuff as well. I had a taster of this on Oct. 1 and gave it a 3.75. Abnormal’s website called it “Fun fact: we've never used the Strata hop before! We decided to showcase this hop plus the very popular Citra in this West Coast Style IPA. Expect strawberry fruit notes from the Strata and tons of citrus flavors from Citra to create a clean, slightly dank beer. As Vision would say, "Aren't we a fine pair?" We couldn't agree more with this blend!”
Poured a pale yellow clear color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Plenty of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Outstanding foamy lacing. Excellent foamy retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled Strata, strawberry, dank pine, weed, wet grass, grapefruit, Citra, passion fruit and mango. Just as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted just as good as the nose. Big Strata, strawberry, dank pine, weed, wet grass, mango, passion fruit, Citra, grapefruit and lingering spice. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This was nice. Much better than the taster I had two months prior. (Overall - 4.25)
