Pump up the volume, the Golden Age of Hip Hop is the catalyst for this special release. Boom Bap Juice pays homage to those infamous kick and snare drums with its own style of dank beats. Feel the beat of flavors and aromatics like mango, guava and coconut cream from the hot lineup of Nugget, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, Sabro and HBC 586. Make sure to grab this brew with your favorite LP and zone out in your headnodic session.

Snuck over to Windmill Farms before heading to Pure Project and North Park, mainly to see what kind of newish North Park stuff they had. Came across this one from Abnormal, which was described as “Pump up the volume, the Golden Age of Hip Hop is the catalyst for this special release. Poured a medium yellow semi-hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head. Lots of fast-moving bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Excellent layered lacing. Perfect retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled coconut, guava, mango, floral, bubblegum, wood, pine and citrus zest. For mentioned hops, more Nugget and Mosaic than Sabro and HBC 586. A little better on the nose out of the can. (Smell - 3.50)
Tasted a little better than the nose. Almost tastes more like a hoppy pilsner than an IPA. In order got Nugget, wood, pine, black pepper, guava, mango, bubblegum. coconut, Mosaic, floral, herbal, HBC 586 and lesser Sabro. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Was a little disappointed in this one, something I don’t normally say about Abnormal. Still more like a hoppy pilsner to me. Good overall. (Overall - 3.75)
