16 ounce pour on tap at Ocean Beach taproom on a beautiful late November day.
Clear amber bronze pour with less than a finger of near white head.
The aroma hits with a maple note, bacon, softly smoky but not overpoweringly so - the smokiness brings to mind breakfast with wafts of bacon and maple syrup.
Sweet and malty on the palate - delightful maple flavours, again a soft but definite smokiness, gentle earthy bitterness with a grainy maple balancing sweetness.
Smooth and delightful medium mouthfeel with bright carbonation and a creamy lingering sweetness.
