Deep, dark brown body, mainly opaque; moderate sized head, frothy and sticky. Little to no aroma; very faint dark malt and, perhaps, trace signs of cocoa or chocolate. The taste picks things up; sweet cocoa and a light touch of vanilla; bold bitterness; light alcohol presence. Medium body; slick; boozy warmth.
A nice Baltic porter that I may have poured out a bit too warm. Still, it delivered some respectable looks and great taste and mouthfeel.

Excellent head production and lacing; good retention. Body is dark and rich.
Interestingly, between the molasses and vanilla, I get a hit of cinnamon-like spice on the nose. This doesn't exactly translate to the palate, but I thought it was worth noting. Other notes include molasses, light toast, very faint red grape, dark bread, and coffee. It's a pleasant but relatively weak aroma.
Very smooth, easily delivering more bang for your buck than most 6% dark beers. On the medium side of roasty, less so than some Baltic Porters, but amplified a touch by the molasses. Everything works very well together. The vanilla isn't prominent, instead playing a complementary role; it's neither a breakfast nor dessert stout, and instead is pretty straightforward and traditional. Nothing off; everything works superbly well in balance.
