Medium lighter golden yellow body, good retention. Solid, missing some carb though. Nice malt flavor that mellows out on the end, but peters out more than I’d like.

12oz can - dated 3-31-20 - poured into a flared Wili Becher at fridge temp.

Pours a crystal clear light golden colour topped with two fingers of foamy, pure white head that never really recedes all the way. Tons of effervescence.

Nose: Grainy pilsner malt with some wholesome malty barley and a sweet breadiness. Clean, crisp, and bright. Noble hops lend a nice grassy, spicy, and floral component. Simple, clean, and inviting.

Palate: Greets the palate with grainy pilsner malt and a very restrained bready sweetness. Not cloying or tacky in any way. Quite dry. The hops come in quick and lend that real traditional spicy noble character and even a bit of true pine notes. Some very restrained and mild bitterness shows up in the finish - a touch resinous - before quickly disappearing, leaving a clean, fairly dry finish.

Mouthfeel/Body: Naturally, the beer is fairly light-bodied, crisp, snappy, and fluid. It's never thin, watery, or lacking, thanks to just enough malt body, as well as some hop oils. Effervescence is perfect - sparkling and lively, and paired with the fairly dry delivery, this beer just goes down quick and easy.

Overall: If you enjoy this style of beer, then it's virtually impossible to find any flaws here. The degree of hopping is authentic and perfectly balanced. The malt is just right, and finds balance between body and dryness. Everything about this is well-rounded and very well done. For a German pils, it's simply above reproach.
