Here's another selection from the trip to Texas in June 2023. And here I am, in January 2024, both adding the beer to this Next Glass database, and reviewing it. The hero dying traffic needs. You're welcome.
Pours that very light yellow appearance, good clarity, you can see right through it. 2/3" white head. Has the combo meal aroma of barley and corn, bring the grains. Light hopping but its noticeable this time, I dunno, its like a Idaho 7 noble hop like feel to its bitter nose. All my rowdy friends are coming over tonight vibes.
Taste brings the standard pilsner feel to it malt wise, plus that corn aspect still there, makes for a refreshing mouth feel. Hopped slightly more than their other pilsners while still remaining pretty true to the Live Oak lager legacy. Yeast is neutral beyond the notion that it does in fact taste like a lager yeast, even if I couldn't smell it at first take. Natural queens out on the floor and Miss Mississippi just walked through the door. Good beer with the rare messaging we hopefully all agree on.
