From a firkin at The Bottle Shop in Dallas as part of their Motha Firkin Friday series.
Pours a hazy orange-brown color with a small white head. The aroma is very heavy on the rye with some orange and a bit of brown sugar. The flavor is is very similar. I get some toasted notes as well as a ton of rye. There is some mint, grass and earth in the flavor as well. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation. I liked this one better than the standard version of the beer.
