Strong ginger taste. The lime is more apparent in the smell and only briefly in the taste before the ginger kicks in. It’s not overly sweet, but definitely more on the sweet than bitter end of the scale. It doesn’t get iffy at the finish, either. For something a little different, this is a nice option. A pleasant brew from Kinkaider. 2018/07/21

The part just before the number 17 is smudged, but the rest of this (on the bottom in yellow) reads: "17 11:27 PKG 19APR18
Appearance: The body of the beer is amber with hints of gold and a light bit of haze. It has a very fizzy white head that appears and fades much like a soda. It has no lacing or head retention.
Aroma: There is a moderate lime aroma to the beer and the longer the nose lingers near the surface the more it picks up this spicy ginger aroma with a bit of what smells like ancho pepper.
Taste: It has a tart quality that doesn't have a specific flavor because it is instantly buried under a big ginger flavor.
Mouthfeel: It has an outstanding mouthfeel that pinches a bit with the tartness, burns a bit in the middle, and feels very refreshing to drink.
Overall: It really just tastes like traditional alcoholic Ginger Beer. It's a zippy and refreshing beer to drink. If you enjoy alcoholic or non-alcoholic ginger beer then you will really enjoy this. I would drink it again from time to time.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "bottled on" date 6-28-17.
APPEARANCE: pours a beautiful, hazy, straw color with some larger bits floating about and less than one-finger white head that slowly settled until a thin, unbroken layer of small bubbles remained, there is significant lacing on the glass, highly carbonated.
SMELL: faint to the nose, bread, lime and ginger.
TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet lime, then ginger and bread, very understated.
PALATE: medium body and highly carbonated.
OVERALL: this is a great looking beer but otherwise unspectacular, the smell and taste were underwhelming, it's not bad and the 4.1% ABV is most welcome but there are better beers to be had so I would not seek this one out again.
