Bruski is a beautifully copper colored Traditional Amber Lager. The malt makes this beer slightly sweet with toasted bready aromas and flavors that are balanced with saaz hops.

Pours a clear copper color with a sudsy oatmeal colored head that lingers a bit. The nose is malt-centric, with toffee and caramel aromas, and a bit of fruity hops.

The caramel and toffee flavors are forward on the taste, with the fruity hops providing balance. The mouthfeel is medium and fairly crisp. Very nice amber lager.

This is a pretty good Pils for a crafter that makes their money brewing ales. (Bruski is Noon Whistle's #1 lager, but has 20 ales ahead of it on BA's most rated list.) Actually reminds me more of the German rendition as it has less hops than the typical Czech. But no worries.

Bruski Looks appealing, OK foam but a light amber tone makes it stand out. Less standout is the mostly malt Smell, average. Tastes improve, well-balanced and the complexity of the lagering emerges as it warms. Medium-mouthed.

I give Noon Whistle good Overall Hugs because they did a decent job on Bruski, but also because I grew up for a decade in Lombard in the 1950s.... and it can use more culture. At least it's got brewing now.

In the 2023 beer advent calendar.

Wow! Now that's a lager. Gorgeous color and nice head. Great maltiness and a classic hop profile.
Showing everybody else how to do it right. I'm impressed.

Tastes like caramel malt and aspirin laden hop pellets. Not a Czech Pils in the least.

Confused as to why this is categorized as a Czech pilsner on this site, the color is much too dark and the malt is extremely prominent. That being said, as far as lagers go (which is what the can labels it as), this is clearly above average.

Nice foggy orange, big white head, lotsa lacing. Nose says bread and caramel as do the buds. A bit thin, nicely carbonated. What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be.

16oz draft pour into a krüg shows a clear amber yellow body briefly supporting a 1/4" head of tight, white bubbles, receding to a thin cap with an edge-hugging ring.

Aroma is all white bread and fresh air flowing into a caramel tinged, hop bittered deliciousness.

Easy drinking, pils for any weather.

"Best by 3/28/22"; drank 7/13/22 @ the Yarchives.

Semi-opaque orange appearance.

A violent pour yielded a huge off-white head; strong, frothy lace.

Fresh bread & mild caramel notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Oak, fresh bread, mild caramel & faint dill pickle flavors.

Pretty good!
