Listed in the "1001 Beers To Taste Before You Die", this is an example of how poorly edited this beer was. Italy has 40 beers on the list and many, many don't deserve that in a global competition. The editor clearly had a thing for the Italian beer reviewer who recommended 40 brews.

750 ml bottle. Leaves sheets of lacing and great head. A nice appearence, glossy but clouded amber in colour. A surprising aroma, hops? Well, not quite... but still a fruity, grapefruit centered with orangy/tangerine notes. Medium carbonation, very well balanced body. Lots of orangy flavour, lots of citruis with a lactic, sourness component. A weird astrigent malt residue with a lightly bitter, gritty texture. A nice finish. This was quite nice!
