From the can "Easy drinking lager inspired by the early efforts of the first German brewmasters in America. The poor quality of the domestic malt at the time forced them to add copious amounts of rice, corn, and other additions, resulting in an exceptionally crisp and refreshing brew"
Review
Light clear straw yellow with foamy head. Medium carbonation. Aroma is citrus and floral hops with a clean malt bill, definitely some rice in the malts. Good flavor. This beer taste slightly fruity with an undercurrent of white wine grape. Dry finish with a nice firm malt crispiness and a decent lingering hop bitterness. Light American lagers aren't my favorite style by any means but this beer is well executed, capturing what is classic about American lagers, their simplicity and malty flavors, without sacrificing flavor or hops.
