I think this is actually called 2x IPA as "the cannon" is the name they use for Crowlers. Nonetheless I'll rate this as it is entered as I think it is the same beer.
My overall impression is that this has the malt heft for a DIPA but not the hops. This is nothing particularly intense of bold about this. The hops are flavorful but not bold. The bitterness is actually somewhat restrained, and for some barely making regular IPA level. This is more like an enhance APA as it is pretty balanced and blended.
Now having said that it is enjoyable and going down rather well. No particular alcohol feel, burn or flavor addition. A little above an moderate feel and carbonated at a slightly lower level appropriate for style. Some nice fruit flavors in the hops and a rather soft lingering finish that is not very dry.
A perfectly fine drink. This opens up some in time and the fruit character of the hops really starts to play nicely. I've bumped up the taste score in a fit of generosity to this growth of the flavor.

hazy, amber beer with two fingers of white head.
i'm getting citrus and ripe melon. a bit sweet for me.
viscous, but reasonably well carbonated. lingering hop bitterness, but not unpleasant.
nothing remarkable, but it does the trick.
