I'll be a little generous here as I had a discussion with an employee (partial owner?) about my version. In the past they had put more effort into cleaning, roasting and pre-paring the pumpkin before brewing and in this batch that didn't occur. Some effort to save time or something and it didn't work as well as it should, in that the pumpkin aroma and taste was really faded/faint. The next batch they went back to how it had previously been done, but I probably won't get a taste of that. What I like is that this isn't a spiced beer, it's meant to be a pumpkin beer, and for that I will give them credit. The lower score reflect the beer I had, but I want to give the next batch or future batches a try.
Darker yellow color and smallish head. Faint pumpkin in aroma and taste, otherwise a mix of the pale malt and kolsch yeast flavor. Body was a little below moderate.

This beer pours a murky orange color. The head is fairly thick, 2-3 finger, but did dissipate fairly quickly. The nose is not there at all. The taste of this beer is interesting. I do get some spices, but they seem slightly different from the standard pumpkin spices used. I also seem to get some orange flavor in this beer. It feels not watery at all. A very interesting pumpkin beer.
