Appearance: dark brown with a 1/2" head that lasts and slowly falls to a thick surface covering.
Smell: roasted malt and a hint of choclate is picked up by the nose.
Taste: roasted malts, dark chocolate, dark bread, and a hint of earthiness. Bitterness is moderate.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Smooth throughout.
Overall: a very enjoyable and flavorful porter. Several of these can be had in a session. This was from a very fresh keg too.
