Virginia Blonde is an easy-drinking ale, low in esters and balanced with enough hop character to accentuate the malt profile. The caramel malt pushes this beer closer to the golden side of the blonde spectrum.

Draft pour into a shaker style glass at the brewery.
L: Clear gold, thin white head.
S: Light fruity apple juice-like esters, not much else.
T: Flavor is low overall, light fruity ester flavor, sweeter malt flavor in the neighborhood of bread/caramel, just enough hop flavor to balance.
F: Crisp feel, light-medium weight.
O:Solid but bland as Blondes sometimes are, good beer nonetheless, and a great gateway beer for someone who mainly drinks macro lagers.

Good but nothing special. Better than your standard American lagers and worth drinking on a hot day. Suggest you start with this one if you are new to craft beers (what they suggest on their menu) or don't want anything too strong (in taste).

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
