The beer pours a clear brown color.
The smell and taste both have a very powerful ginger note among strong spice notes in the smell but are muted in the taste. The beer has a light floral hop note that is slightly bitter but not very. The molasses note is fairly light but mixes well with the various spices and the muddled hop note allows it to not be overpowered and provides a nice contrast between the two.
The feel is a bit disappointing. The medium body feel s a bit thin.
Overall, a decent brown ale and worth trying when it's available.
